The FemTouch™ procedure
FemTouch™ works by gently ablating and coagulating the vaginal lining in a safe, comfortable, and controlled manner — using proven CO₂ laser and fractional laser technology. The fractional approach treats only a fraction of the tissue surface, encouraging faster healing and greater comfort.
A vaginal examination is performed first to rule out the presence of infection or abnormality.
Topical numbing medication is applied to the appropriate areas. We wait up to 45 minutes before treatment.
A sterile applicator is inserted, then moved slowly outward as fractional CO₂ laser energy is delivered.
The entire treatment process takes only a few minutes. A slight warming sensation, but typically no pain.
When to expect results
Many women report improvement after their first or second treatment. However, the formal recommendation for optimal results is that 3 visits occur at 6-week intervals.
Following the first treatment, we schedule periodic follow-up visits to assess the level of improvement and ensure you’re getting the full benefit of the treatment.
