Do you treat both men and women? +
Yes. Dr. Gabal is board-certified in Urology and has subspecialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS). She treats urological conditions in both men and women, including conditions unique to female pelvic health.
What is the difference between OAB and urinary incontinence? +
Overactive bladder (OAB) is a syndrome with sudden, urgent need to urinate — with or without leakage. Urinary incontinence is the involuntary loss of urine and includes stress, urge, and mixed types. OAB is a common cause of urge incontinence but they are distinct diagnoses. Dr. Gabal evaluates and treats both conditions.
When should I see a urologist? +
See a urologist if you experience blood in your urine, frequent or urgent urination, painful urination, urine leakage, difficulty emptying your bladder, pelvic pain, recurrent UTIs, or any changes in sexual function. Early evaluation leads to better outcomes — same-day appointments are available.
