Strengthening the pelvic floor from the inside
VTone® by InMode is a non-invasive intravaginal treatment designed to strengthen pelvic floor muscles through electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) — offering a discreet, comfortable option to support the management of urinary incontinence and pelvic floor weakness. Performed in-office with no downtime.
What is VTone?
VTone® is an intravaginal treatment device from InMode that uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to trigger involuntary muscle contractions in the pelvic floor. These stimulated contractions are designed to help strengthen and re-educate the pelvic floor muscles — the same muscles that support the bladder, uterus, and other pelvic organs.
Because the treatment is hands-free and performed in a private setting, it offers a comfortable, discreet option for women who want to work on pelvic floor health without invasive procedures. Sessions are performed in our office by trained staff.
See VTone in action
VTone may be right for you if…
VTone is often considered by women who have weakened pelvic floor muscles — a very common condition after childbirth, aging, or hormonal changes.
Stress urinary incontinence
If you experience leaks with coughing, sneezing, laughing, exercise, or lifting, VTone may help support pelvic floor strength as part of a broader treatment approach.
Urgency or frequency issues
Women with urge incontinence, overactive bladder, or the frequent need to urinate may benefit from VTone as part of a comprehensive approach to bladder health.
Post-childbirth pelvic floor weakness
Pregnancy and childbirth stretch and weaken pelvic floor muscles. VTone provides a non-invasive way to help re-strengthen those muscles — often as a complement to Kegels or physical therapy.
Feminine wellness
Women interested in preventive pelvic floor care, improved intimate wellness, and overall pelvic health may also consider VTone as part of a personalized wellness plan.
How EMS technology works
VTone uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to trigger controlled, involuntary contractions in the pelvic floor muscles. These stimulated contractions can be deeper and more consistent than what most people can achieve through voluntary Kegel exercises alone.
Over a series of sessions, this repeated muscle activation is designed to help strengthen the pelvic floor and improve muscle tone — which may support better bladder control, pelvic organ support, and overall pelvic floor function.
What to expect
Every session is performed in a private treatment room by trained staff — with your comfort and privacy as the top priority.
Private setting
You’ll be brought into a private treatment room and made comfortable.
Applicator placement
The hands-free intravaginal applicator is gently placed by trained staff.
EMS treatment
The device delivers controlled pulses — you’ll feel the muscles contract rhythmically.
Resume your day
Session is complete — you can return to normal activities immediately.
A recommended series of sessions
VTone is most effective when performed as a series. Your provider will recommend a personalized session plan based on your individual goals and the specific concerns being addressed. Sessions are typically scheduled weekly, though the exact plan may vary.
Each session takes about 30 minutes — most patients tolerate treatment well and can resume normal activities immediately afterward. Some patients notice improvement earlier in the series, while for others the changes develop gradually over the full course of treatment.
VTone is one part of a comprehensive approach
VTone is designed to support pelvic floor health — but it works best when combined with a broader approach that may include pelvic floor physical therapy, lifestyle changes, and appropriate medical treatment for underlying conditions.
Individual results vary, and VTone may not be appropriate for every patient. During your consultation, Dr. Gabal will evaluate whether VTone is a good fit — or whether other treatments (such as surgical options, medical therapy, or clinical trials) might be a better match for your goals.
